We understand that plans may change, and we ask clients to respect our time and that of other guests by providing adequate notice.
1. Notice Period
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
- Notice must be given via email, or through our booking system. Messages sent on social media are not considered valid notice unless confirmed by us.
2. Deposits on Cancellation
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If the required notice is given (48 hours or more), your deposit may be transferred to your rescheduled appointment.
- If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the deposit will be forfeited.
3. No-Shows
- Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in:
- The deposit being forfeited, and
- A requirement to pay 100% of the missed service value before being able to rebook.

4. Late Cancellations Due to Emergencies
- We understand that genuine emergencies may arise. Consideration will be given at the salon’s discretion, but this does not guarantee deposit transfer or fee waivers.
5. Salon Cancellations
- In the rare event that Plaitonic must cancel your appointment (e.g., due to staff illness, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control), your deposit will be fully transferable to another appointment or refunded if rescheduling is not possible.
6. Group/Long Services
- For multi-hour services (e.g., hair extensions, balayage packages), a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling.
